Target Market Strategy
For Make a Change
Flag Football League, the more people come to our event, the better. Yet we
need to concentrate on whose attention we need to get in order to bring in as
many people as possible. “Companies can
build customer relationships at many levels, depending on the nature of the target market.” Page 17
Marketing: An Introduction. Figuring out whom to build this costumer
relationship with can be tricky, since one of our goals is to get as many
people as possible involved, yet the fact that anyone can come to the event
won’t get the whole thing started. We need to go back to the basic in order to
even start our target marketing strategy. “Market targeting involves evaluating
each market segment’s
attractiveness and selecting one or more segments to enter. A company should target segments in which it can
profitably generate the greatest customer value and sustain it over time.”
Page 50 Marketing: An Introduction. One has to remember that Make a Change Flag
Football League is a sports event, and people would come from all over the
community to watch young athletes play football. For which that should be Make
a Change Flag Football’s target marketing, Young athletes, since it is them who
the whole event is for. The more young athletes we recruit to play for us, the
more people will want to come to support their neighbors, friends, kids, etc. at
the same time the more people we would be helping.
